Overview: The Health Informatics Lab (HI-Lab) invites applications for an intensive AI Research Traineeship designed to bridge the gap between classroom theory and cutting-edge research. Trainees will progress through a structured trajectory, beginning with the mathematical foundations of Machine Learning and culminating in the development of a localized LLM-based agent for global research synthesis.
Requirements:
- Academic: Currently enrolled Undergraduate (AI, CS, CE, CM, or EE).
- Mathematical Foundations: Solid understanding of Matrices, Linear Algebra, and Calculus.
- Technical: Foundational programming skills (Python preferred); basic understanding of LLMs and APIs.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication skills and a commitment to a collaborative team environment.
