Research

Our research focuses on multiple dimensions of health informatics. We build software systems that are relevant to secured health data-sharing, machine learning models that evaluate climate factors against health & natural hazards, and medical imaging analysis including 3D reconstructions from scans.

We also work on developing explainable and trustworthy AI for health domains.

The current works include:

  • Climatic analysis of infectious disease
  • Ethical implications of cross-domain adaptations
  • Reinforcement learning for tele-medicinal platforms
  • Low-cost IoT for gait analysis
  • Intelligent software systems for secured data sharing
  • 3D reconstruction and bio-mechanical analysis using computer vision
  • Medical image and signal processing
  • Gen AI for Health Informatics
