Overview: The Health Informatics Lab (HI-Lab) invites applications for an intensive AI Research Traineeship in Deep Learning and Computer Vision, designed to bridge the gap between classroom theory and hands-on research. Trainees will progress through a structured research trajectory focused on deep learning–based medical imaging and computer vision, supported by strong mathematical foundations and rigorous research practices.
Requirements:
- Academic: Currently enrolled undergraduate student (Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related disciplines).
- Mathematical Foundations: Strong understanding of linear algebra, calculus, probability, and statistics.
- Technical: Strong Python programming skills; familiarity with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch preferred); basic knowledge of computer vision and image processing libraries (e.g. Pillow, OpenCV).
- Soft Skills: Strong communication skills and aptitude for collaborative research environments.
